Dr. Hughes' practice is comprehensive in services offered (simple fillings to full mouth makeovers). Dr. Hughes offers oral sedation, implant placement and restoration(teeth). Dr. Hughes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry(board certification)(one of only 350 in the world), Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, national lecturer and instructor in implant dentistry. Dr. Hughes was trained by some of the pioneers in implant dentistry(Dr. Leonard Linkow, Dr. Ralph Roberts and Dr. O. Hilt Tatum). Dr. Hughes has treated Grammy Award winners, professional athletel, high fashion models and politicans. However, Dr. Hughes mostly enjoys making and keeping all his patients healthy in his friendly office. Dr. Hughes is also on the surgical staff and serves on the infection control and cancer committes at the INOVA Loudoun Hospital.
